Photographer and Artist Keith Auerbach is a native of Louisville Kentucky. He is a keen observer of humanity. His images, using an unfamiliar view of the familiar, bring our attention to revealing, emotional, and often humorous moments of our lives. There is an immediacy in his photographs that engage us to seek our own meaning in the image. He has an intuitive sense for the moment of recognition when to best capture the story-telling moment.

 

 

Keith is a founding member of PYRO Gallery, a Louisville art cooperative started in 2003. For nearly fifteen years his photographs appeared in LEO WEEKLY (Louisville Eccentric Observer). He has won numerous national and regional awards including a LUCIE -an International Photography Award and an IPPY - Book Of The Year Award for his book The Photographic Humor Of Keith Auerbach. He has participated in over 100 local, regional, and national exhibitions and has public art in Louisville and Lexington.
